I’m really pleased with how the final tape version of the map came out, it affirmed the fact that I think about the lines as tape when creating the maps on paper or digitally.
The stations (white rings) were the perfect size with the width of the duct tape and the scale at which I recreated the map.
However, there were multiple mishaps that occurred throughout the process requiring me to change my plans mid-process (detailed in separate post), but I feel I dealt with each one as well as I could and was able to adapt quickly to the changes that needed to be made to finish the map.
Although I am not writing much here, yet making a separate ‘failures’ post, it is not because I am unhappy with the map - I think the video speaks for itself how well it did turn out! However, there were multiple failures that I consider to be the real learning experience of this new ‘map-making’ process, and will allow to me continue and progress this method.

The above video of the creation of the map is at x 1500 speed.
