Rotating the standard NHS transition map so it sits in the way it was originally designed, in a way that looms over my own mockingly that mine couldn't be so concise and straight-forward, this unachievable 'goal transition journey' held in high regard.
This is what I will be recreating for the show on paper. Based on a width of 25 squares and a height of 52, scaling to paper with a width of 1.5m means each square will be 6cm squared. Putting the length of my paper at just over 3m.
However, I do want to include short quotes at key points in my transition journey. So to fit them in without feeling like I am crowding the map, I may consider stretching the lines in areas to open up a space to put these quotes - adjusting the length, not the width so the RETROGRESS | PROGRESS axis would not be affected, and the times would be shifted accordingly so it would not be amending the timeline. This is only a possibility though, as I would rather not adjust the map from how it looks when this is how I will be making it physically with tape, and want the film displayed alongside to be consistent with the drawing.
